Patti D'Arbanville
- by Robert Robert -

I first met Patti in the summer of 1966. She was just 15 years old and already living on her own. My girlfriend, Samantha, and I were living in a cheap, rent-controlled apartment on West Broadway in what would become SoHo. Patti and her female roommate lived directly across the hall from us and we soon all became friends.

Now Patti and her roommate had a very interesting way of keeping house. For example, when they finished eating, they would simply put the dirty dishes in the bathtub (which was in the kitchen) then pull the plastic shower curtain around the tub to hide them from view.

Unfortunately, after a couple of months mold began to grow on the uneaten food on the dishes. By four months the layer of mold had become about two inches thick. But of course you couldn't see this because of the shower curtain. I guess they figured "out of sight, out of mind".

The important thing, however, is that I got to meet Patti. As soon as I saw her I wanted her to appear in a feature film I was planning, which was to become Erotic Salad. Her baby-doll good looks were unique, and I set out to convince her to appear in my movie.
