Patti D'Arbanville's Screen Test - by Robert Robert - Patti was just 15 years old, but as soon as I met her I realized that with her youth and adorable good looks she would be a delicious addition to my film Erotic Salad. First, however, I asked her to do a screen test. She agreed, and we shot it a few days later in my loft a few blocks away on Spring Street. The screen test turned out terrific. Patti showed up in a very professional manner with her makeup on and her hair styled exactly like Twiggy, the very popular and official "in" model of the late 60s. The test begins with Patti sitting in an office chair, in a white blouse, black neckerchief and mini skirt. She eyes the camera through oversize sunglasses with that combination of nonchalance and pure disdain that Patti does best. Then she starts with the gum!
